STORY OF TENANT
This is a story of a tenant who was nice until her boyfriend moved in with her and things just went to hell within 6 months. She left with all her belongings and wanted to transfer her lease to a trashy boyfriend. Why the hell would I do that as a landlord? That guy didn’t have any income or credit to transfer the lease and didn’t want to even leave the apartment. The girl ended up paying 2 months extra rent for him and at least her father came and made sure that boy leaves the apartment.
Girl went through trauma, sometimes that’s the consequence of some of our own choices.
IS THE TIME CHANGED FOR LANDLORDS?
This world has given bad names to landlords and I am sure there were reasons for that but time has changed and Landlords are on the receiving end of this deal.
Landlords take risk, pay mortgages, pay taxes, provide a place to live and then they still have to clean up after bad tenants. This is not a generic statement, it is rare but it happens and I dealt with this situation a few times already.
