“There is no Path to Happiness; Happiness is the Path.” – Buddha
If your happiness LIES in the things that you don’t have yet, then you will never be HAPPY. You will never be SATISFIED with what you have and the PROCESS of finding happiness after having little more things will never go away. If you are thinking that you will be happy when you will have a better job, more money or more time then that’s is just your MISUNDERSTANDING because that is never going to happen. You will always crave for more, and you will never notice the things which you already got.
Don’t see happiness as your DESTINATION, see it as your JOURNEY. Appreciate the relationships, things and life that you already have. You won’t be able to enjoy all of it at any later stage of your life because it is happening now. Live in the PRESENT, be proud and happy for your accomplishments. Keep on doing BETTER every day but don’t POSTPONE your happiness.
You are trying every day and you are making a DIFFERENCE. You are facing problems, but you are SOLVING them and learning from them. You will find many REASONS to be happy and feel PROUD of yourself but that will happen if you choose to do that.
You can either ignore it by saying it is not exactly what I wanted, or you can feel good and happy by saying I definitely made an IMPROVEMENT.
Your happiness depends on your REACTION to the situations and the way you look at things. You can be very happy in just having LITTLE of something or you can be unhappy with having more than ENOUGH of something. It depends if you are the person who finds happiness in little things or you are the person who can find something wrong even in a perfect world.
Life is short, but it is BEAUTIFUL. Try to understand and enjoy it when you have time. Realizing it at a later stage will just make you REGRET all of it. Don’t put your happiness secondary. Look around, be happy with the LOVE and PEOPLE you have in your life. Be happy with your ACCOMPLISHMENTS.
ENJOY and LIVE your life it is to live, not just to keep on running after things.
